How COVID-19 Has Changed American Consumers Healthcare Usage
Nearly ¾ of American consumers have changed how they access and utilize healthcare services since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a survey from the Alliance of Community Health Plans and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). The survey found that while 58% of consumers considered their doctors to be their “most trusted source” for COVID-19 information, only 31% of those consumers wanted an in-person visit with their doctors.
