Transplant Considerations For Patients With Polycystic Kidney Disease

Kidney transplantation can improve the quality of life and reduces the mortality risk for patients who have reached kidney failure. However, there are many considerations that a patient undergoes during the transplant evaluation process, some of which are unique to patients with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). Join us as experts, Dr Meyeon Park and Dr Simin Goral discuss different factors and choices patients with kidney failure must process during their journey to a kidney transplant. As well as hearing from our peer specialist, Mr Kevin Fowler, about his experience during his pre-emptive transplant journey.
