Join us as we discuss the challenges patients with end-stage kidney disease face and explore the barriers and benefits of living kidney donation. Our speaker, Glenna Frey, APRN-CNS, is an advanced practice provider with over 35 years of nephrology nursing and oncology experience. Apart from being a healthcare provider, Glenna Frey is the co-founder and co-executive director of Kidney Donor Conversations, a non-profit that provides education about living kidney donation – a true passion of hers, as Glenna herself, is a living kidney donor.

Glenna Frey, APRN-CNS, an advanced practice provider, will be discussing living kidney donation from a professional and personal perspective. Glenna received her BSN from Bowling Green State University and her MSN from the Medical College of Ohio. Glenna’s impressive career, includes positions of increasing responsibility in nursing practice with quality, clinical, education, consultation and research. Her dedication to the field is evident with over 35 years of nephrology nursing experience and is an active America Nephrology Nursing Association (ANNA) member. Currently, Glenna is a Healing Care Practitioner assisting outpatient oncology patients with relaxation, guided imagery, aromatherapy, and Healing Touch.
Apart from being a healthcare provider, Glenna is co-founder & co-Executive Director of Kidney Donor Conversations, Inc., a nonprofit founded in 2018 to provide education about living kidney donation – a true passion of hers, as Glenna herself, is a living kidney donor.
Cynthia Bigley, DrPH, MPH
Associate Director, State Government Affairs & Advocacy DivisionOtsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.)*
Dr Bigley is an Associate Director in the State Government Affairs and Advocacy division at Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. Dr Bigley received her doctoral degree in Public Health Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Master’s degree in Public Health from East Stroudsburg University. She has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 27 years holding various positions in marketing, patient support/reimbursement and government affairs. As part of her role in state government affairs, she is responsible for engaging stakeholders on Otsuka’s policy platforms in multiple states.
Dr Bigley is a member of the PKD Foundation, actively serves in advocacy efforts supporting renal disease awareness and has served as the Renal Point for the State Government Affairs Team.

Nephrology Medical Science DirectorOtsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc.*
Jill A Green, PhD, is a Medical Science Director in the nephrology division at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc. Dr Green received her PhD in biomedical sciences, with a specialization in biochemical and molecular basis of disease. She went on to hold a research scientist role at The James Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Ohio State University, specializing in oncology pre-clinical research before taking a position as a Regulatory Compliance Officer where she managed thoracic oncology clinical trials at The James Cancer Hospital.
