CVS Kidney Care Launches Home Dialysis Clinical Trial
CVS Kidney Care, a CVS Health company, has released a
statement announcing the start of a clinical trial to evaluate the safety and
efficacy of the HemoCare Hemodialysis System for the administration of home
dialysis (www.cvshealth.com/kidneycare).
To bring this announcement, CVC Health partnered with DEKA Research and
Development Corporation. HemoCare is designed to make home dialysis simple for
patients. The clinical trial of up to 70 patients will take place at up to ten
sites in the country.
