Dr. Colbert is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine with specialties in nephrology and hypertension. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine in Dallas and is one of the Nephrology Fellowship Co-Program Directors at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr Colbert has also been with Kidney and Hypertension Associates of Dallas (KAHD) for more than 10 years. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center and then went on to complete an internship and residency in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center. After that, he went on to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for his fellowship in nephrology. He is President-Elect of the Dallas County Medical Society and is on the Board of the National Kidney Foundation of Texas and Oklahoma.
