George R. Bailie is a Partner in Renal Pharmacy Consultants, LLC which produces Dialysis of Drugs, and Emeritus Professor of Pharmacy at Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Albany, NY. His research and practice interests have included pharmacokinetic studies of medications in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and evaluation of medication prescription patterns and outcomes in chronic kidney disease. He has been actively involved with many pharmacy and nephrology-related professional organizations. He was previously also a partner in Nephrology Pharmacy Associates, LLC.

Nancy A. Mason is a Partner in Renal Pharmacy Consultants, LLC which produces Dialysis of Drugs, and Clinical Professor Emerita of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. Dr Mason’s primary clinical research and practice interests have focused on the care of dialysis patients. She has served as chair of the ACCP Nephrology Pharmacy Practice and Research Network and has worked with numerous other professional organizations including the National Kidney Foundation and the American Society of Nephrology. Her publications have focused on medication-related issues in patients with kidney disease, including pharmacokinetics of medications, medication-related problems, and medication reconciliation in dialysis patients. She was previously also a partner in Nephrology Pharmacy Associates, LLC.

Jaimini Patel, PharmD, BCCCP, is a Nephrology Medical Science Liaison at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc. (OPDC). Dr Patel earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and completed two years of post-doctoral residency at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and Loyola University Medical Center, respectively, specializing in critical care pharmacy practice. Prior to joining Otsuka, Dr Patel practiced as a critical care pharmacist at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center for 3.5 years and has cared for patients in the medical, surgical/trauma, cardiothoracic and neuroscience ICUs, and was significantly involved in the care of patients with COVID-19. Dr Patel holds board certification in critical care pharmacotherapy and is a licensed pharmacist in Michigan, Illinois and Ohio. She is also an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine through which she is engaged in research and leadership.
