Major Depressive Disorder affects more than 260 million people worldwide.1 The reported prevalence of depression in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) ranges from 20-65%.2 This presentation provides an overview of both MDD and CKD and discusses their overlap of symptomology.
