4-Part IgAN Experience: An Immersive, Interactive Dinner Series Brought to You by NephU
Step into an educational journey designed to deepen your understanding of IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) through an engaging, multi-format learning experience—powered by cutting-edge tools and real-world insights.
Here’s what to expect across the evening’s four parts:
Apple Vision Pro Interactive Module
Experience a groundbreaking new way to learn about IgAN. Through Apple Vision Pro, dive into the pathogenic cascade that leads to kidney injury and explore the role of APRIL, a key initiating and sustaining factor in IgAN. This immersive mixed-reality module puts disease education right before your eyes—literally.
Journal Club: RaDaR Literature Review
Review long-term outcomes from the UK’s National Registry of Rare Kidney Diseases (RaDaR) and explore how short-term changes in proteinuria and eGFR slope relate to lifetime kidney failure risk. Gain insights into evolving markers for disease progression and their impact on patient care.
Patient Case Deep Dive: Persistent Proteinuria
IgAN previously has been considered a benign disease, particularly for patients below the target proteinuria level of <1 g/d. However, studies suggest that the risk of progression to ESKD cannot be ignored, even for patients traditionally considered low risk. Join us for a patient case discussion regarding persistent proteinuria!
Resource Showcase
Browse a curated set of NephU-approved educational tools, infographics, and simulators to support HCP education beyond the dinner. Connect with MSLs to get the most from these high-value resources.
