Andrea Mohindra, PharmD, is a Nephrology Medical Science Liaison covering New York City & Long Island. She earned her PharmD at the University of Rhode Island in South Kingstown, RI. Prior to joining Otsuka in 2021, Dr Mohindra held various leadership roles in retail pharmacy for 15 years in the NJ and NYC regions. Most recently, she held the role of Doctor Partnership Manager for a retail pharmacy startup company and worked closely with Psychiatrists and Migraine Specialists. She is currently licensed in New Jersey and New York state.
Purva Sharma, MD
Assistant Professor of Medicine/ Nephrology• Assistant Professor of Medicine/Nephrology • Co-Director, The Glomerular Disease Center at Northwell Health • Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell
Dr. Purva Sharma is an academic nephrologist and Co-Director of the Glomerular Disease Center at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Northwell. Dr. Sharma completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut and Nephrology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include glomerular diseases, acute kidney injury and critical care nephrology. She is well-published and plays a key teaching role in various international nephrology organizations. She is also the Co-Director of Galdi Fellowship in Onco-Nephrology and Glomerular Diseases and heads the Glomerular Disease Trials and Research Division at Northwell.
Kenar Jhaveri, MD
Co-Director, Glomerular Center at Northwell Health Co-Director, Onconephrology Services Associate Chief of Nephrology, Professor of Medicine Northwell Health, Zucker School of MedicineKenar Jhaveri is Professor of Medicine at Northwell Health and Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is the co-director of the Glomerular Center atand program director for the Galdi fellowship in Onconephrology and Glomerular Diseases. He is an active trialist for glomerular diseases and has several research interests in onconephrology. He has published over 200 manuscripts in glomerular diseases, onconephrology and medical education in nephrology.
