Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) is a hereditary disease in which progressive enlargement of the kidneys can ultimately result in end stage renal disease (ESRD). A better understanding of disease progression may not only identify patients at risk for early onset ESRD, but may also identify patients for clinical intervention that may delay the progression to renal failure.
