On March 30, 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced temporarily expanded access to telehealth services for Medicare beneficiaries nationwide to permit them receive services where they live, including residents of nursing homes or assisted living facilities, and those receiving home health or hospice benefits.
