DESCRIPTION:This presentation on Dietary Factors & Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD): Dietary Interventions\, reviews human composite dietary intervention trials conducted in patients with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). These dietary interventions include reductions in dietary sodium and protein to reduce solute load\, increasing fluid intake to control vasopressin\, and increasing fruit and vegetable intake to control dietary acids.
